| It's Spring again and the Bellingham Farmers Market begins its 2008 Season on Saturday, April 5th. You can shop for a wide variety of things at the Market including local produce, baked goods, fresh flowers, gifts and it's a fun place to spend a Saturday afternoon. The Saturday market is located at the Depot Market Square at the corner of Railroad Ave. and E. Maple. it is open weekly from 10am to 3pm through December. Going to Canada? What Identification Do You Need? |

If you are going to Canada for a vacation, business trip or day trip you definitely want to know what ID to bring along to make the border crossing go smoothly. Here are the current requirements for crossing the border:
Air - All individuals crossing the border by air must have a passport as of January 2007.
Sea and Land - Citizens of US and Canada must have proof of citizenship and nationality to enter the US starting January 31, 2008. You must have your Drivers' License or a government issued photo ID AND a Birth Certificate or naturalization papers. Other documentation that can be used: Passport, NEXUS card, Enhanced Drivers' License.
**There will be new documentation requirements for Land and Sea this Summer (2008). The documents that will be accepted then are Passport, NEXUS Card, Enhanced Drivers License.
